| The Fragrance Foundation Announces Top Scorer of 2000 Certified Fragrance Sales Specialist Exam New York, NY - Ms. Toby Summerlin, retail sales coordinator, Thierry Mugler Parfums at Saks Fifth Avenue in Atlanta, Georgia, achieved the highest score on The Fragrance Foundation’s 2000 Certified Fragrance Sales Specialist (C.F.S.S.®) Exam administered
on March 27. The seventh C.F.S.S.® Exam was the largest to date with a total of
634 candidates who registered. 532 candidates sat for the exam in 24 cities
across the United States. As the top scorer, Ms. Summerlin will be treated to a five-day, all expenses paid visit to New York City during National "FiFi" Week (June 5 – 9). The highlight of the trip will be her attendance at the 28th Annual "FiFi" Awards on June 6, at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, where she will be honored and presented with the Official C.F.S.S.® Pin, a check for $500, and the C.F.S.S.® Lalique Crystal Rose Commemorative Vase. To be honored as the C.F.S.S.® top scorer at the "FiFi" Awards, the Certification Board has stipulated that the sales specialist’s main responsibility must be selling to the consumer from behind the counter. All candidates who pass the exam receive the specially-designed C.F.S.S.® pin and a certificate acknowledging their accomplishment and recognizing them as "Fragrance Ambassadors" in their stores.
